The Role

As National Accounts Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth by managing and expanding customer relationships across Bentley’s key accounts. You will be responsible for pursuing inbound leads, converting opportunities, and nurturing long-term partnerships built on trust and value. You will also identify opportunities within existing accounts to drive additional growth.  Through proactive outreach and attentive account management, you’ll ensure customers receive tailored solutions that meet their unique needs, while consistently exceeding sales targets and contributing to Bentley’s overall success. This is a hybrid role, with significant in-office presence to maximize collaboration, learning, and team engagement. 

What You’ll Do

  • Solve Problems – Partner with customers to uncover challenges and deliver creative, effective packaging solutions.
  • Own the Relationship – Build strong partnerships with accounts, becoming their trusted advisor and first call for packaging innovation.
  • Pursue Growth – Drive sales by pursuing inbound leads, expanding existing accounts, and reactivating dormant accounts.
  • Collaborate with Teams – Work closely with ASRs (Account Sales Representatives) and internal departments — including operations, design, logistics, and customer service — to deliver solutions that wow customers.
  • Daily Engagement – Respond to and proactively reach out via phone and email with valuable, relevant information that helps customers succeed.
  • Negotiate Like a Pro – Lead contract discussions, ensuring both customer success and company profitability.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve – Track industry trends and competitor activity to keep Bentley one step ahead.

  • Comfort with CRM and sales tools, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
